Fitness Center Updates

Dear Brookhaven Homeowners,

The Board has been working diligently to increase the ease of use and level of comfort in the fitness center. We know this amenity is used by many of our homeowners and we have made some changes and improvements to the amenity.

A new HVAC system is being installed in the gym, as the previous unit failed. Installation began February 28th and should be completed in the next two weeks.

The new clubhouse cleaner started in January and is working to ensure the clubhouse and fitness center are clean and ready for homeowner use! Please bear with them as they fine tune their schedule and get the clubhouse up to standard.

Due to the high cost of cable and because tv remotes were constantly missing, we have chosen to cancel the cable service in the clubhouse and fitness center. The cable/internet bill will be reduced by half and we look forward to the community savings!

We know many homeowners enjoy being able to watch tv during their workouts. We are exploring the possibility of switching options to potentially allow streaming, as long as it make sense financially and from a safety standpoint. Homeowners may also bring their own devices to stream service (roku, fire stick, etc.) on the televisions. We have just started exploring options and will let the community know if something can be implemented.

Many of the clubhouse televisions no longer function, likely due to a lightning strike. The Board is shopping options to replace the three televisions in the main clubhouse (fitness center not included). More details to come, but we are working toward smart tv options so homeowners may stream with their own devices.
